Defendants Edward Wray Crockett, Jr., Hugh R. Segars, and Eugene Allen Fisher appeal from their convictions for conspiring to violate the mail fraud statute, 18 U.S.C. § 371, and for thirteen counts of violating the mail fraud statute — all in connection with a planned bankruptcy, the intent and effect of which was to defraud the creditors of the bankrupt business.
