The defendant was found guilty by a jury of the crime of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and sentenced to imprisonment for 1 year.

The evidence established without serious dispute that the defendant did possess a 22-caliber revolver with a 4¾-inch barrel. The defendant's assignments of error rest on three principal contentions: (1) That the State failed to prove that the revolver...
