Petitioner was indicted for and pleaded guilty to two counts of armed robbery at the March 1942 term of the Circuit Court of Attala County. He was sentenced to serve two terms of fifty years in the state penitentiary.1 In 1974 petitioner filed a petition for writ of error coram nobis in the Circuit Court of Attala County alleging that he was not represented by counsel at the time he pleaded guilty in 1942.
