These cases involve two unlawful detainer actions for nonpayment of rent. Plaintiff, University Community Properties, Inc. (hereinafter UCPI), sued tenants Katie Norton and Larry Glenn in Hennepin County Municipal Court. UCPI's motion for summary judgment was granted as to defendant Norton; its motion for partial summary judgment was denied as to defendant Glenn. Norton appealed to this court.
