Appellant was charged with the fatal shooting on August 11, 1973 of Frances Thompson, a taxicab driver, during the perpetration of a rape and robbery. He was convicted by a jury of felony-murder, rape and robbery.1 The only evidence linking appellant to the crime was a latent fingerprint on a document found in the taxicab at the scene of the murder and the murder weapon...
