In 1954, in Davis v. Lewis & Lewis, 226 La. 1059, 78 So.2d 173, 174, the Louisiana Supreme Court commented on a plaintiff's inability to obtain the name of an adjusterrepresented insurance company: "To give the name of the liability insurance carrier should become the prevailing ethics."
