Defendant was convicted of murder in the first degree, § 559.010, RSMo 1969, for which he was sentenced to life imprisonment, and of robbery by means of a dangerous and deadly weapon, § 560.120, RSMo 1969, for which he was sentenced to five years imprisonment. The trial court ordered the sentences to run consecutively as was mandatory under § 546.480, RSMo 1969. Defendant has appealed this judgment and sentence. We reverse the...
