Appellant, Charlie Young, was convicted of murder, armed robbery and robbery by intimidation in the Greene County Superior Court following his indictment by a grand jury in that county. Appellant was sentenced to death for the murder conviction. He also received a sentence of life imprisonment for the armed robbery conviction and 20 years imprisonment for the robbery by intimidation conviction.
