Esau Anderson was charged with the offense of unlawful use of weapons in violation of section 24-1(a)(10) of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, par. 24-1(a)(10)). After a bench trial, the defendant was found guilty and sentenced to 1 year of probation and fined $250. Anderson appeals from his conviction and raises the following
