This petition for a writ of habeas corpus alleges as the sole ground for relief a claim of ineffective representation of counsel.

Petitioner was convicted in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis, upon trial to a jury of the crime of rape and was thereafter, on March 10, 1972, sentenced under the Missouri Second Offender Act to a term of 35 years imprisonment...
