LEMMON, Judge.

John Neyrey has appealed from a judgment rejecting his demand for the return of certain jewelry pledged to secure a debt, or for the value of the jewelry, plus damages.

This litigation started when Hausmann's, Inc. filed suit to collect a debt due by Neyrey on an open account. A default judgment was rendered on September 11, 1968 in the amount of $7,140.00.
