James Redding and Kenneth Scott1 were indicted for armed robbery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 18-2) and aggravated battery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 12-4) and convicted after a jury trial. They appeal from their convictions and raise the following issues for review: (1) whether the State proved the defendants guilty of armed robbery...
