PAOLINO, Justice.
On Monday, May 3, 1976, as part of the Bicentennial Celebration, this court convened in the historic Colony House, in the City of Newport, to hear appeals in three cases which had close connections with that famous city-by-the-sea. This was the first time since May 26, 1905, over 70 years, that the Supreme Court of this state held court there.
