Howell Burr May died, intestate, domiciled in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, on April 26, 1974.

It is contended by Kathryn Eileen Robinson that he died leaving two forced heirs, namely, herself, as an adopted child, and Carolyn May Smith, the legitimate daughter of the marriage of Decedent to Kathryn Bradley May, the said Kathryn Bradley May having preceased Decedent.
