Defendant, Charles Jennings, was charged by indictment with the murder of Roy Givhan. He was also indicted for attempt murder of two other persons. Following a bench trial, defendant was found guilty of murder. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 9-1.) He was also found guilty of two counts of aggravated assault, but judgments were not entered on these convictions. Defendant was sentenced...
