Plaintiff, a permanently disabled employee of the defendant city, sought to have the city ordered to cease deducting from monthly disability retirement benefits paid him under a pension and relief fund an amount equal to weekly workmen's compensation benefits paid him by the workmen's compensation insurer of the city for the disability.
