Defendant, Willie Banks, Jr., was convicted of armed robbery in Madison County and sentenced to from 4 to 6 years. The defendant was 15 at the time of the offense. The proceedings were commenced when the State filed a petition asking that defendant be adjudged delinquent on the basis of the armed robbery.
