The plaintiff, Edith McQueen, was admitted to Nassau County Medical Center on May 18, 1971 because of a fractured humerus. At that time she was treated by the defendant Dr. Peter Salzer. Plaintiff remained in the hospital until May 22, 1971 when she was discharged. On December 1, 1971 Mrs. McQueen returned to the hospital.
