In a trial before a jury, appellant was convicted of burglary with intent to commit theft. Punishment was assessed under the provisions of Article 63, Vernon's Ann.P.C., at life.

The sufficiency of the evidence is not challenged. The record reflects that on February 5, 1971, the residence of Will Stidman, a gun collector, was burglarized, and a number of guns were stolen. A complete list of the guns, together with description...
