In 1971 the Legislature of the State of Wyoming enacted, and the Governor approved, Chapter 214 of the Session Laws of Wyoming. This is an act relating to the maintenance and operation of the justice of peace court system, and by § 1 of Chapter 214, S.L. of Wyoming, 1971, a requirement was imposed that a person be authorized to practice law in Wyoming in order to be eligible for election to the office...
