BILLINGS, Justice.

The State of Vermont, by virtue of the construction of Interstate 91, condemned a portion of the plaintiff's property in the Town of Bradford, consisting of 17.8 acres of unimproved land. The plaintiff, being dissatisfied with the award of the State, appealed to the Orange Superior Court and received a verdict in the sum of $22,000.
