The petitioner and Robert Fontaine were convicted before a judge and jury in the Superior Court on indictments charging each with bribery and with conspiracy to bribe a juror. On appeal the conviction on the bribery charge was reversed and that on the conspiracy charge sustained. State v. Murphy, 113 R.I. 565, 323 A.2d 561 (1974).
