Defendant was charged conjointly with one Jerry Rehfeld with three counts of burglary in the third degree and one count of grand larceny following the theft of coins from three taverns and the tires and wheels from an automobile. Prior to trial, Rehfeld pleaded guilty on the grand larceny charge and was sentenced to a term in the state penitentiary. The other three charges against him were dismissed.
