This action was brought by four employees of the Penn Central Railroad Company, which subsequently was succeeded by the defendant trustees (hereafter the railroad) for damages under the Federal Employers Liability Act. (45 U.S.C.A. § 51 (1972).) The injuries complained of were sustained when a Yellow Cab in which plaintiffs were riding had a rear-end collision with a Chicago Transit...
