TUCKETT, Justice:

The defendant was found guilty of the crime of robbery in the District Court of Salt Lake County, State of Utah. The defendant is here seeking a reversal or, in the alternative, a new trial.

The defendant and James E. Travis were charged jointly in the information with having robbed Blair C. Roberts and Robert C. Zancanella. Prior to trial in the district court, the defendant and Travis filed motions to sever, which motions were granted....
