This case arose from an intersectional collision between automobiles driven by James E. McNeal and Lester Spain. McNeal's parents and their insurance carrier sued Spain (and his wife, Florence) for property damage. The Spains counterclaimed seeking compensation for property damage and for the severe personal injuries experienced by Spain. A jury returned a verdict for Lester Spain in the amount of $94,561, and awarded an additional $2,500...
