The Knox County jury heard testimony and examined exhibits from which they could have concluded that it had been proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the Defendant had been committed to the Maine State Prison on February 3, 1972, upon a judgment of a Justice of the Superior Court that he serve a term of not less than two and not more than four years; that on August 21, 1973, while this judgment was still in effect, the Defendant was permitted...
