Plaintiff was involved in demolition work on premises of the New York Telephone Company (Telephone). James King & Son, Inc. (King) was the general contractor and J. J. Flannery, Inc. (Flannery) was a subcontractor. The plaintiff, Michael Wizenberg, was an employee of Flannery. King co-ordinated the demolition work and, in addition, performed masonry work, including demolition of the walls and ceiling of the "old machine room" which was the site of the occurrence
