Appellants, Finley and Beasley, were indicted with Walter C. Clewis and Maynard H. Williams for conspiring to interfere with interstate commerce by extortion in violation of the Hobbs Act, 18 U.S.C. § 1951.1 The jury found appellants guilty but acquitted Clewis and Williams. The indictment alleges that between April 15, 1970, and February 15, 1973, that each of the appellants conspired with the co-defendants...
