In the spring of 1971 David W. Moore (Moore) was 16 1/2 years of age and was between the junior and senior years of Lebanon High School, where he made grades of A's and B's.

Moore made arrangements after the close of his junior school year to attend "Operation Catapult" at Rose-Hulman Institute (Rose) and reported there on Sunday, June 17, 1971, with his parents, where he and his parents, together with other students and their parents received...
