Defendant Trent Chamblis, originally charged with armed robbery, MCLA 750.529; MSA 28.797, was convicted by a jury on March 15, 1974, of larceny from the person. MCLA 750.357; MSA 28.589. He was sentenced to serve one to ten years in prison on April 5, 1974. The only issue raised on appeal is whether it was error for the trial court to instruct the jury on the lesser
