Plaintiffs commenced this action against the defendants charging violations of the Securities Acts of 1933 and 1934. Plaintiffs were and are limited partners of Schweickart & Co. which until July, 1974 was actively engaged in the securities business as a broker-dealer and was a member firm of the New York Stock Exchange ("Exchange").
