OPINION BY HOFFMAN, J., June 24, 1975:

Appellant contends that the lower court erred in considering the maximum sentence for the crime of involuntary manslaughter provided by the new Crimes Code1 when the crime occurred prior to the effective date of the new Code. Appellant further contends that the Act under which she was sentenced2 denies female offenders the equal protection of the laws.
