Charles Powers and Richard Allen Roberts were jointly indicted for the illegal sale of narcotics to W. Harper and L. Hile. The jury found Powers guilty on one count and fixed his punishment at ten years' imprisonment and a $10,000 fine and found Richard Allen Roberts guilty on two counts and fixed his punishment at five years' imprisonment on each count.
