This is an indictment in two counts charging the defendant Donald Prout with carrying a pistol without a license in violation of G.L.1956 (1969 Reenactment) § 11-47-8 (Count I) and with possession of a firearm after conviction of a crime of violence, to wit, rape in violation of § 11-47-5 (Count II).
