On a trial to a jury, the defendant was found guilty of one count of attempted larceny in the first degree, in violation of §§ 53a-119 (2), 53a-122 (a) (2) and 53a-49 of the General Statutes, one count of larceny in the first degree, in violation of §§ 53a-119 (2) and 53a-122 (a) (2) and two counts of forgery in the second degree, in violation of § 53a-139 (a) (1).
