Monroe Redevelopment Agency expropriated property owned by defendant, T.D.L. Corporation, as part of an extensive public works project known as the Monroe Floodwall Gap Project. Plaintiff tendered to defendant $116,000 as compensation for the taking. When defendant refused this sum, plaintiff deposited the amount tendered into the registry of the district court and instituted expropriation proceedings...
