Defendant, Almond Lockett, was charged by bill of information with the theft, on March 29, 1973, of copper intercell connectors, having a value in excess of $100.00. La.R.S. 14:67. Following a trial by jury, he was found guilty as charged and was subsequently sentenced to serve two years with the Department of Corrections. Nine bills of exceptions were reserved during trial.
