This is an original habeas corpus proceeding. Relator Gerald D. Butler was held in contempt of court and sentenced to three days in the Nueces County jail by Honorable Jack R. Blackmon, Presiding Judge of the 28th Judicial District, because of Butler's refusal to answer a question in the course of his deposition being taken before the court.
