Edward A. Fredericks executed his will on November 23, 1970. The portions of his will pertinent to this case read as follows:

"THIRD. All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, whether real property, personal property or mixed, of whatever nature and wheresoever situate of which I may die seized or possessed, or which I may own or have any interest in at the time of my death, I give, devise, and bequeath to my wife, EVA W. FREDERICKS...
