This action, brought by plaintiff, Reginald Haynes, is to recover for injuries he suffered when he was involved in a 3-car collision with the defendants, William Moore and Donald Pitsch. The accident occurred on the Columbia River bridge approximately 25 feet south of the Washington-Oregon border.

The case was tried to a jury, pursuant to the Oregon comparative negligence statute.1...
