A jury returned a verdict awarding damages to the plaintiff in the amount of $15,000 in an action to recover for personal injuries. Plaintiff consented to a remittitur of $7,500, reducing the judgment to $7,500. The trial court then denied defendant's post-trial motion for a new trial.
