This is an action to recover damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by plaintiffs on October 29, 1973 while passengers in an automobile, owned and operated by defendant Thomas Speller, Jr., which collided with a vehicle owned by defendant Ryder Truck Rental, Inc., (hereinafter "Ryder").
