Defendant, Baltazar Arispe, was convicted by a jury of attempted second degree kidnapping and menancing with a deadly weapon and sentenced to serve specified concurrent sentences. Defendant appeals. We reverse.

Defendant first urges reversal on the grounds that the confession obtained from him was involuntary and that thus the trial court erred by allowing its admission into evidence. We disagree.<...
