Defendant Anthony R. Martin-Trigona was charged with assault in violation of section 12-1 of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, par. 12-1), and with disorderly conduct in violation of section 26-1 of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 38, par. 26-1). After a jury trial at which defendant waived his right to be present, he was acquitted of the assault charge...
