Gary Vincent Johnson was convicted by a jury of the offense of robbery in the first degree by means of a dangerous and deadly weapon, as defined and denounced by §§ 560.120 and 560.135, RSMo 1969.1 The Second Offender Act, § 556.280, was found to be applicable and defendant's punishment was assessed at a term of 99 years' imprisonment.
