This case, evolving from a complex history of facts, represents a suit by Amerofina, Inc. [hereinafter Amerofina] against U.S. Industries, Inc. [hereinafter USI] to recover a "finder's fee" which Amerofina alleges is due it for services rendered under an oral contract.
