On March 30, 1965, Jesse Melancon filed this suit to recover damages for personal injuries that he allegedly sustained while an invitee on property owned, offered for sale, and insured by the several defendants. A jury verdict was returned in plaintiff's favor in the amount of $15,000.00, and the trial judge signed a judgment in accordance therewith on December 15, 1965.
