Needing a pipeline right-of-way, Lo-Vaca Gathering Company, under its power of eminent domain, took a 13.5 acre strip across the land of Joe Spindor and wife. The Spindors were awarded $2,700 for the strip taken and $7,244.80 for damages to their adjacent land, herein called the remainder. A road used for laying the pipeline was built across a lake of the Spindors, and therein lies the problem....
