Defendant, George Washington Jones, Jr., was indicted by a Kane County grand jury on counts of burglary with intent to commit rape and attempted rape. Following a jury trial defendant was found not guilty of burglary and guilty of attempted rape. He was sentenced to 2 1/3 to 7 years' imprisonment. Defendant contends on appeal that the remarks of the prosecutor in his closing argument...
